Welcome to Safe Hands CPR (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, booking our services, or participating in our classes or programs, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Terms & Conditions 

 

1. Eligibility

 

You must be at least 16 years old to participate in our training courses unless otherwise stated. For instructor-level courses, you must be at least 18 years of age.

 

 

2. Services Provided

 

Safe Hands CPR provides American Heart Association and American Red Cross-certified training, including but not limited to:

  • CPR, AED & First Aid (Heartsaver & BLS)

  • OSHA Safety Training (e.g., PPE, Bloodborne Pathogens)

  • Water Safety Instruction

  • Mobile Phlebotomy, Drug & DNA Testing

  • Instructor Essentials Course

  • Mobile and onsite community/corporate training workshops

Additional services may be added or modified at our discretion.

 

 

3. Payments

  • All payments are due in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept payments via:

    • Wix Online Checkout

    • Debit/Credit Card

    • PayPal

    • Cash App

    • Other approved platforms listed on our booking page

 

 

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • No Refunds: All payments are non-refundable.

  • Cancellation/Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule one time with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations or no-shows without proper notice will forfeit payment.

 

 

5. Course Completion & Certification

  • Certificates will only be issued upon successful completion of training, written exams, and required skill evaluations.

  • BLS Course Requirement: A minimum score of 84% is required to pass the BLS written exam. Students are allowed 2 attempts to pass. After two unsuccessful attempts, the student must retest at a later date.

  • Instructor Course Requirement: The Essential Instructor exam also requires a minimum score of 84% to pass. Students must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in an instructor-level course.

  • If a class is missed, participants may be granted one opportunity to make up the class within 30 days, on a case-by-case basis, provided proper documentation (e.g., doctor’s note, emergency verification) is submitted within 3 business days of the missed class.

  • It is the student’s responsibility to ensure course completion before certificate expiration dates (if re-certifying).

 

 

6. Intellectual Property

 

All content, course materials, logos, graphics, and trademarks provided by Safe Hands CPR are the property of Safe Hands CPR and may not be reproduced or redistributed without written permission.

 

 

7. Health & Safety

 

You are responsible for notifying us of any medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate in physical activities. Participation in classes is at your own risk. Safe Hands CPR is not liable for any injuries or medical incidents that occur during training sessions.

 

 

8. User Conduct

 

By using our site and services, you agree not to:

  • Engage in disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior

  • Violate any laws or regulations during participation

  • Impersonate another individual or provide false information

 

 

9. Right to Refuse Service

 

We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any participant from a course if their behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or violates these terms.

 

 

10. Modifications to Terms

 

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and become effective immediately upon posting.

 

 

11. Governing Law

 

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
